Registration News and Deadlines

Registration for
Philosophy of C. S. Lewis (May 2011) is now closed. Philosophy of C. S. Lewis is a 2 week, 3 credit hour course exploring the life and works of one of the most influential Christian thinkers, apologists, storytellers and popular theologians of the twentieth century. Registration for the
C. S. Lewis Experience Travel Course at The Christian Studies Center is now closed.

Students who have filled out a CSC registration form are under no obligation to study with the CSC. However, space is limited in most CSC courses and your seat in a class is not reserved until you pay your registration deposit on our secure
billing page.


Listed below are your three options for taking classes with the CSC during the 2010/2011 school year.

Spring 2011
Faith & Film

  • Earn 3 credit hours before spring break watching and discussing films just one night each week.
  • Students from universities in and around Lexington, KY can take Faith & Film at the CSC while remaining a full-time student at their home institution.
  • Learn to engage movies not just as entertainment, but as a vehicle for communicating powerful ideas.

Summer 2011
Oxford Experience Travel Course

  • Earn 3 credit hours in just 9 days while traveling in Oxford and London.
  • Explore the life and works of C. S. Lewis, one of the most influential Christian thinkers, apologists, storytellers, and theologians of the 20th century.
  • Customize the course to fit your degree plans: the Oxford Experience travel course can be taken for either English or Philosophy credit.

Summer 2011
Standard Courses

  • Earn 3 credit hours in just two weeks of intensive study.
  • Students can take individual classes or enroll in the CSC Ministry Preparation Program- a 6 hour track designed specifically for students considering a future in ministry.
  • Study with renowned Christian professors from some of the most prestigious universities in the country.
  • Live and learn in Christian community during your time in Lexington. Interact with professors and mentors both in and out of the classroom
